Thanks to the 2017 Honda Accord mpg ratings, College Place and Kennewick drivers no longer need to choose between impressive efficiency and breathtaking performance. With three power options and three available transmissions, the Accord is able to surpass expectations.

2.4L 4-Cylinder Engine

LX, EX, and EX-L trim levels receive their power from one of the most compelling standard engines in the midsize sedan segment. When College Place and Kennewick drivers hit the gas, they’ll be able to call upon up to 185 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque.

Even with such power beneath the hood, you won’t find that the Accord is anything less than impressive in terms of efficiency. You’ll make either 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway* with a 6-speed manual transmission or 27 mpg city and 36 mpg highway* with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Sport Models

Both the Sport and all-new Sport Special Edition come with the same 2.4L engine as the LX, EX, and EX-L. However, these models boast a dual exhaust system to provide that engine with oxygen more efficiently. This means that your output jumps up to 189 hp and 182 lb-ft of torque.

The CVT adds paddle shifters to either side of the steering wheel to manually raise or lower the gear ratio. Ultimately, you’ll make up to a competitive 26 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.*

3.5L V6

If you’re of the opinion that everything from your daily commute to a cross-country trip demands top-of-the-line power and performance, opt for either the EX-L V6 or the Touring. Both models come standard with a 3.5L V6 powerhouse, one capable of putting you in command of up to 278 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque.

That potent drive is handled by a sophisticated 6-speed automatic transmission, which allows for up to 21 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.*
