Being a college town, Walla Walla prepares itself for the time of year when students will be walking for graduation. The Whitman College Commencement is being hosted this weekend on the Memorial Building South Lawn on Sunday, May 20th. No tickets are required for the Commencement Ceremony. Seating is first-come, first-served for the ceremony that is to run from 11-1pm.

The Baccalaureate ceremony, which is held the day before Commencement, offers graduating seniors and their families an opportunity to reflect on their time spent at Whitman and look ahead to new opportunities. Again, the seating is first-come, first-served and it is to run on Saturday, May 19th from 2:30-3:30 in Cordiner Hall.  For those unable to attend, Whitman gives you the opportunity to watch the Baccalaureate ceremony live, online! Head over to their webpage for links to that, you can even share with friends and family!
